Rumaisa Hotel

Zanzibar Town

Slightly off the beaten track, the Rumaisa Hotel is worth the journey. Stairs with bamboo bannisters lead to rooms with Zanzibari beds, fridge and TV, with ochre-painted walls giving a vaguely North Africa touch. Staff are very friendly and breakfast is served in the rooftop restaurant.

It's next to the Zancinema on the continuation of Creek Rd beyond the crossroads with Malawi Rd.
