Garden Lodge

Zanzibar Town

This efficient, friendly, family-run place offers 18 rooms in a characterful house fringed with balconies and decorated with stained-glass windows. Rooms are slightly austere but clean, bright and spacious, especially on the upper floors. There’s a rooftop breakfast terrace, and other meals available with advance order. Tours and bike hire can be arranged.

Kaunda Rd is closed to traffic from the junction with Vuga Rd so Garden Lodge cannot be reached by car.
