Mkoma Bay

Northeastern Tanzania

The highlights at this lodge are the fine views over Mkoma Bay and the subdued ambience. Accommodation is in raised tents of the sort you find in upmarket safari camps, all set in the vegetation around expansive grounds on a low cliff overlooking the beach. There's also a four-bedroom self-catering house, a family banda and a restaurant.

Activites include swimming in the bay, beach walking and kayaking. It’s 3km north of the Pangani–Muheza road junction.
