The deservedly popular African Tulip inhabits a quiet green side street and successfully combines a safari theme with a genteel ambience. The large rooms are supremely comfortable havens from Arusha's noise. There’s a whimsical baobab tree in the restaurant, carved wood in the common areas and a small garden around the swimming pool at the back.
There are two bars and a gift shop, and a percentage of hotel proceeds goes towards charitable projects.
