This Lushoto institution has changed ownership and is warmly recommended. It's full of charm, with vine-covered buildings, extensive gardens and fireplaces in some rooms. There's good camping, a restaurant with tasty homestyle meals, a lovely terrace and plenty to do for children. It's in a small patch of pine forest, conveniently located at the entrance to town and signposted.
Go left at the roundabout at the town entrance, following the unpaved road up and around to the right through the pine trees to the hotel.
