Between Lake Manyara and Tarangire National Parks, this tented camp is the only one on the Manyara Ranch Conservancy, ensuring a quiet stay far from the parks' crowded trails. Tents are classic safari style but delightfully uncluttered and supremely comfortable. Activities include nature walks with an armed guide, day or night wildlife drives, birdwatching and Maasai village and/or school visits.
The private verandahs have reclining couches, and sundowners are served by a campfire with a view of the surrounding plain. From the nightly accommodation rate, US$40 per person goes to the ranch's conservation activities.
