Run by members of the Taroko tribe, in part as a way to illustrate their culture and history, this comfortable, low-rise resort consists of 18 two-room cabin-style buildings ranged around grassy lawns in the upper level of Bulowan. The experience includes a full indigenous-cuisine dinner and dance show, and all around there are forests, wildlife and postcard-perfect mountain views.
