Antique Mall

Taipei

A rabbit's warren of old gems. You'll find everything here from ornate furniture to kimonos, chinaware, plastic toys, dial-up telephones and rocking horses. There's even a car-sized wooden junk (Chinese boat). Prices seem a bit on the steep side, but rummage through and you might find a bargain.

This place is enormous – two floors and myriad rooms – so budget a bit of time. Because the place is both packed and narrow, all customers must leave their bags in a locker up front.
