This traveller-focused hostel located in an old part of Taipei has colour-coded dorm rooms – pink for women, blue for men, purple for mixed – all with windows as well as underground capsules. Beds come with a mini-TV each. There's a games room with darts, movie projector and bar. Facilities are spotless and staff couldn't be more helpful.
It's about 700m from the MRT station, and you'll spot it by it's bright-yellow painted facade. This is a mellow part of Taipei with many historical and cultural sites such as Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, Nanhai Academy and the Botanical Gardens within walking distance.
