At the northern end of historic Dihua St is Taipei's finest Guizhou restaurant. The interior is upscale but relaxed, and dishes are authentic and well presented. The restaurant is in a courtyard off the main street. The waitstaff are trained to explain the dishes to diners.
Guizhou cuisine, like that of nearby Sichuan province, is noted for its spice, but Guizhou dishes generally have a greater range and more delicate flavours. Qing Tian Xia has few dishes that do not contain meat.
