This long-running favourite in the Maokong area has old-style red-brick verandahs offering excellent views across a green valley. The food here (dishes NT$280 to NT$460) is quite good too, especially the chicken soup (great on a chilly, foggy evening). The teahouse is down a flight of stairs to the left of a modern road-level cafe owned by the same family.

To get here, it's just a short walk from the Maokong Gondola Station. There are at least five other teahouses and cafes in the immediate vicinity.
