Cloud Gate Theater

Taipei

An experimental contemporary dance group; the theatre also hosts international acts.

To get here just walk past Hobe Fort and follow the signs. This swanky, new building houses a 450-seat theatre, and a 1500-seat outdoor theatre, as well as two studios. There are lovely views from the large wooden deck.

It's worthwhile checking its website:, it often hosts free exhibitions and occasional outdoor music and dance performances by visiting artists.
