Hsieh's Old House Inn

Top choice in Tainan

This 140-year darling has a beautiful Chinese maple growing indoors through three floors, as well as terrazzo stairs, '60s furniture, and contemporary architectural touches for added comfort. The three rooms come with mosquito nets and tatami mattresses by old Tainanese masters. The top one has a Japanese-style chamber with wooden beams, and an outdoor onsen for soaking under the moonlight.

This is supposed to be the star of Hsieh's old-house restoration projects. Make contact with him if you would like details about the other ones.
