Le St James

Bora Bora

Don’t be deterred by the odd location – it's hidden in the back of a small shopping centre in Vaitape – for, once inside, you’ll find a convivial space that combines style with informality and an enticing deck affording lovely bay views. Foodwise, the emphasis is on French specialities with a bow to local ingredients.

The lunch menu is excellent value by Bora Bora standards. Top selections: lamb shank with spices and tournedos Rossini avec purée aux truffes (a choice piece of steak with truffle-flavoured purée). There's an equally impressive wine list, and the desserts are a treat. It's also a great place for a sundowner.
