Bora Bungalove

Bora Bora

You've got two options here: a comfy, spacious and kitchen-equipped bungalow with a terrace right on the water's edge and a rather cramped room with outside shower and toilets. OK, there’s no air-con and you need wheels to stay here – Vaitape is 6km away and Matira Beach a further 8km away – but it's friendly, homey and well run. Bikes and kayaks are free.

The room also has its own terrace overlooking the bay. There's no beach, and the (deep) water is more blue-ish than turquoise, but snorkelling is good. No meals are served but there's a communal kitchen. Transfers to Vaitape quay cost 3000 CFP return per carload. Cash only.
