Belonging to the niche, fresh-faced 25hours brand, this Zürich-West hotel pairs ultra-slick design with exuberant playful touches, original art and pops of bright colour. Rooms are minimalist funky, with eco-cosmetics, Bluetooth speakers, geometric-patterned rugs, free minibars and recycled Freitag bags to borrow. Other nice touches include ping pong by the entrance and long, late breakfasts.

The top-floor sauna and fitness room overlook the city, while the bottom-floor Neni restaurant serves global flavours. It’s all very cleverly thought out.
