Sunrise is prime-time viewing around here. Since Victorian times, tourists have been staying at the Rigi Kulm Hotel and getting up before the crack of dawn to see the blazing sun light up the sky. Today’s hotel, a 20th-century recreation of the original, is the only major establishment at the summit, and has a restaurant and snack kiosk.
