The real reason to hit Under Kastanjen is for its picturesque setting, on a cobbled square, beside a chestnut tree, surrounded by ochre and yellow storybook houses. While the menu lacks wow factor, it does offer simple, comforting, generous home cooking, from soups and stews to classic Swedish meatballs. There's a good choice of gluten-free dishes, plus cakes for that mid-afternoon sugar hit.
