Pharmarium

Gamla Stan

Its name and spice cabinets a nod to the square's 16th-century pharmacy, Pharmarium is where Stockholmers drink on touristy Stortorget. Not all the creative cocktails hit the mark, though the barkeeps know how to make a decent classic (try a gin martini). While summer comes with a terrace, the place really pumps in winter, when Swedish snugness takes over the wood-panelled interior.
