Mango Beach Inn

St Lucia

Run by an affable Englishwoman, Judith Verity, who dotes upon her guests with effortless charm, this historic stone house is soothingly positioned on a velvety emerald hillside with wonderful views. The three rooms are not luxurious but are homey and comfortable enough. There's a small pool in the lush garden.

Unfortunately it has closed its wonderful bayside restaurant but there's plenty of eating options a five-minute boat ride away. To reach it, take the small boat across the bay from the main dock and walk to the right along the path.
