Madulkelle Tea & Ecolodge

The Hill Country

Definitely glamping not camping, this upmarket lodge's luxe tents are scattered around a verdant hillside, and are all equipped with commodious beds, fully equipped bathrooms and wooden writing desks. Stroll around the Madulkelle estate, then relax in the infinity pool, gazing over mountain creases and the deep greens of the surrounding tea plantations.

The main building, containing the grand dining room, is filled with polished antiques and leather armchairs set beside a roaring log fire. Note, the access road is very rough and a high-clearance car is usually necessary.
