A stylish white-and-dove-grey makeover has put husband-and-wife-run Casa Juan on the map as one of El Hierro's most creative restaurants. Prize-winning chef Arabisén Quintero works local produce into imaginative, originally presented island-inspired creations – fried shrimp, tuna samosas with mojo, delectable seafood arroces (rice dishes) and elegantly prepped fresh fish of the day. Peto fishballs in curry sauce are a speciality.
