In little Mozaga, 2.5km northwest of San Bartolomé, this elegantly updated, late-18th-century family home awash in white walls and rosy bougainvillea retains its country-style charm without compromising on comfort. The eight high-ceilinged rooms are graced by antiques and original art and dotted around a courtyard and volcanic gardens, where hammocks and sunbeds await. The restaurant has an excellent reputation.
