Be Papagayo

Bringing an Ibiza-chic vibe to the volcanic cliffs above Playa del Papagayo, this laid-back barefoot-style chiringuito (beach bar) rustles up fresh lemonades, shakes and mojitos under beach umbrellas and aqua-on-white walls. There's also an enticing, creatively contemporary menu of papas arrugadas, huevos rotos, grilled fish and other Macaronesian goodies. It is open into the evening for drinks during summer months.
