Agroturisme Son Vives

Menorca

This delightful, adults-only, traditionally Menorcan farmhouse is perched on a view-splayed hilltop 5km north of Ferreries, with panoramas stretching to the north coast and Cap de Cavalleria. It's run by a friendly brother-and-sister team who make their own cheese, breed horses and concoct excellent meals using home-grown ingredients. The 12 rooms are stylishly updated in neutral tones, most with balcony.

Solar power and organic gardens fuel the operation, and there's a peaceful pool.
