This restaurant on your left as you drive up from Maspalomas has decent local fare, including gofio (ground, roasted grain; €3.20), ropa vieja (chickpea stew; €7.50), carne de cabra (goat-meat stew; €8.90), papas arrugadas (wrinkly potatoes; €3.50) and conejo en salsa (rabbit in sauce; €8.90). But the main draw is the rear terrace, with ringside seats to the astonishing mountain views beyond.
Service can, however, be glacially slow.
