La Mera Mera

Just off the beaten path, La Mera Mera is a shoebox-sized bar with a bohemian air thanks to the old photos on the walls and slender brassy light fixtures. The cocktails are excellent (especially the pisco sours and strong margaritas), and the menu of Mexican snacks includes a smash-your-own guacamole (you're given a mortar and pestle).
