It's amazing what you can make out of an old flour mill. La Garganta sits right next to El Chorro station, its former milling installations now hosting a pleasant rural hotel with pool, restaurant and comfortable rooms, including several family-friendly duplexes. It's well worth paying extra for a room with views of the river gorge.
