La Marmita Centro

Cádiz

Courtesy of Cádiz' popular La Marmita Group, this sleekly minimalist old-city spot thrills diners with its imaginative, intelligently presented Andalucian-international tapas. Border-crossing dishes focus on seasonal local produce, such as salmorejo with payoyo cheese or pad thai with garlicky prawns.

You can book for the smart back restaurant, which serves excellent-value, five-course degustation menus (€25), but not the tapas bar.
