On the corner of Agüimes' main square, this welcoming tapas joint, with its green-painted bar and art-deco lights, is housed in a former grocer’s shop (dating to 1933), as depicted in the murals covering the walls. Rumbling tummies should opt for a portion of ropa vieja (chickpea stew), but if you want a small serving let them know, or you'll get a large measure by default.
