Gwanghwamun Jip

Gwanghwamun & Jongno-gu

Following the same recipe since the 1980s, Gwanghwamun Jip is one of the most famous kimchi jiggae (stew) restaurants in South Korea. The homey interior is cramped but the food is truly fabulous. Its stew perfectly combines fermented kimchi with fatty pork for a spicy, refreshing taste. For an extra ₩5000, add a large rolled omelette on the side.
