Cobbler

Top choice in Gwanghwamun & Jongno-gu

This high-end bar is located inside a hanok within a nest of lonesome alleyways. Owned by Robin Yoo (a pioneer in Korea's cocktail scene), it has no menu; instead, the bartender recommends some excellent cocktails, such as gin sour with lavender notes, or something from a wide range of whiskies. Everybody is given a piece of cobbler pie upon entrance.

A well-known name thanks to his first Hongdae bar, Robin's Square, Yoo renovated a broken-down hanok, piecing together Cobbler's interior one stick of vintage furniture at a time.
