Nagwonjang Hotel

Gwanghwamun & Jongno-gu

A boutique hotel located in the heart of Ikseon-dong, Nagwonjang Hotel is the result of a collaboration between several artists. Originally a love motel built in the '80s, the smallish double rooms feature vintage decor and prices remain affordable. An outdoor cafe space and rooftop views further the value for money.

The hotel opened its doors in 2017, modelled after American chain, Ace Hotel. At six storeys, it stands proudly as the tallest building around. Guests of the hotel also receive 10% off at nearby restaurants.
