Gubaek Sikdang

Jeollanam-do

Seodae-hoe (서대회; thin slices of raw fish marinated in makgeolli vinegar and chilli paste) is a local speciality and this restaurant is famous for it. To eat it, mix the fish with the rice and stir. Saengseongui (생선구이; grilled fish) is another good bet. The ajumma (married or older women) staff are friendly and used to dealing with foreigners.
