Ddoongbo Jip

Busan

Open since ‘82, the name of this hole-in-the-wall literally means 'Fatty's House'. It's famous for its jjukumi (webfoot octopus): the spicy, chewy delicacy is grilled over charcoal and often paired with the house bossam (broiled pork). The atmosphere is lively and the portions are generous so be ready to eat and drink to your heart's content. Closed every fourth Sunday.

Though there's little English spoken, there are only two or three menu items and big pictures of each, so ordering is easy.
