Geumhak Kalguksu

Gangneung

This small, ramshackle place with a little garden and simple blue plastic furniture serves delicious and generous helpings of jang kalguksu – buckwheat noodles in a piquant broth poured into a large metal bowl and sprinkled with seaweed and sesame seeds. It's down the narrow alley next to Starbucks, at the bend in the alley.
