A four-room, upmarket guesthouse facing the river and blending seamlessly with the surrounding thatched-roof hanok (traditional wooden homes). The name in Korean literally means ‘Happiness old House'. Each traditional room comes with modern comforts like cable TV and a fridge, plus an odd hinoki (pine) bathtub. There’s a mud-walled jjimjil-bang (sauna) as well, for that true traditional bathing experience. Cash only.
Dinner (per person ₩30,000) is available from December to March and needs to be reserved three days in advance.
