Singita has a reputation for having some of the best lodges in Africa. Its Boulders lodge on the bank of the Sand River is our favourite. The dining areas, lounge, library, wine cellar and cavernous suites are all framed by Great Zimbabwe–esque stacks of large dark stones that contrast beautifully with contemporary furnishings and African artwork.
Amenities and service are impeccable, as is the guiding, and wildlife sightings are almost always excellent, especially leopards.
