Vuna Valley Lodge

KwaZulu-Natal

Right next to the entrance to the Umtamvuna Nature Reserve, Vuna Valley Lodge is an old standby in the area. It came under new ownership in 2017 and has been given a much-needed facelift. The rooms are clean and feature plenty of bright colours and African flair, and the comfortable dorms make for a great budget option.

The new owners, Nishka and Jacobus, have also opened a new restaurant on site which caters to vegan and vegetarian guests, although meat is also served.
