Troyeville Hotel

Johannesburg

This character-filled hotel is a memorable place for a long meal. It has been frequented by the Portuguese community since well before the paint began to peel. The Iberian influence is found in the delicious Mozambican prawns, the tasty feijoada (bean stew) and the chilled red wine.

The dining room is around the back of the hotel away from the busy highway and with a view of the Jo'burg skyline. If you like it here, it also has some spacious and decently furnished rooms upstairs (from R590) for overnight stays.
