Gačnk v Logu

The Julian Alps

This century-old inn is close to the turn-off for the Franja Partisan Hospital (about 3.5km north of Cerkno's centre). It has nine homely rooms (including family-sized ones), a kids' play area, and a restaurant (mains €7 to €13) serving locally grown ingredients – specialities include mushroom soup, fresh trout, žlikrofi (ravioli of cheese, bacon and chives) and venison. It's a lovely setting, too.
