This shepherd-cuisine specialist pulls big crowds, with lamb goulash, pirohy (dumplings) and barbecued meat forming the predictable menu of farmhouse favourites. Service varies, as does the food quality, but the views and atmosphere can be relied on. The restaurant sits astride an impossible-to-miss hillock by the highway, 6km west of Spiš Castle.

There is ample outdoor dining space, overlooking a big play area for kids.
