Penzión Podzámok

Eastern Slovakia

This home-away-from-home guesthouse has been operating for more than two decades. Rooms are nicely maintained and awash in candy colours, while ceramics and wall-mounted antlers give a farmhouse feel to the attached restaurant. The view of Spiš Castle from the yard is spectacular, and in summer there's a small pool to splash around in (€2).

Bike rental is available (from €4). Breakfast is €5.
