This stone-and-log lodge with polished, plain rooms is at the northern end of the park. It's ideally located for families, with easy walking and cycling trails from the door, a playground and a charming outdoor terrace overlooking meadowland. It's 1km southwest of the Podlesok village area.
The restaurant encourages a hunter-gatherer diet with its menu of deer with berries, roasted trout and duck on a bed of cabbage (mains €4 to €12). There's also pizza, if you prefer to carb-load before a vigorous hike.
