Awash in the main square's golden colour scheme, Levoča's best hotel is spread across two pyramid-roofed buildings. Rooms are painted in warming sunset shades, with rustic accents like wooden beams but modern conveniences like fridges and good TVs. There's a welcome drink on arrival, too.
U Leva's fine restaurant (mains €6 to €12) sprinkles the occasional Mediterranean dish into its mostly Slovak menu. Good-value lunch specials are along the lines of ćevapi (mincemeat kebabs), pork and roast potatoes, and a daily risotto.
