Magura's crisp and contemporary rooms are decorated with a pleasing nod to Eastern Slovak rusticity, thanks to wooden beams and woolly rugs. There's also a roomy, chalet-style family apartment (twice the price of a standard room and worth it). There's air-conditioning in the family rooms and a grassy play area out back.
The traditional restaurant below prepares filling Slovak dishes like cheese-baked turkey, bean soups and steaks (mains from €4).
