Skaritz

Bratislava

Few places in the old town so effortlessly combine century-old elegance and contemporary design. Skaritz's 20 rooms are wooden-floored, equipped with fridges, safes and coffee stations, and include five large suites. But the downside to the neoclassical courtyard design is the echoing marble, making late-returning guests and light sleepers an inharmonious pairing.

Sauna (free) and Thai massage (from €25) available.

Parking is steep (€20), though it's comparable to other upmarket hotels in and around Bratislava's old town.
