Rooms at the 'Pleasant Rest' guesthouse, set within a period building bedecked with flower boxes, are boarding-house plain though they're brightened by the odd rug or bit of lace – and by the uncommonly friendly owners. Original features, like a late-Renaissance staircase, add to the heirloom feel. The location downhill of the Old Castle can't be bettered. Room rates include breakfast.
There's a playground, a sauna (€7) and free parking. Four-legged guests are also admitted; the charge for pets is €7.
