Traditional Peranakan beadwork is a dying art, but it's kept very much alive in this shop and workshop. The shop's colourful slippers are designed by craftsman Robert Sng and hand-beaded by himself and his sister, Irene. While they're not cheap (approximately S$1000), each pair takes a painstaking 100 hours to complete. You'll also find Peranakan-style tea sets, crockery, vases, handbags and jewellery.
Robert runs one-on-one beading workshops, lasting five hours and costing from S$370; book one week ahead.
