While we adore the leafy al fresco deck, the draw is the silky, straight-from-Italy mozzarella, showcased in starter-sized specialità (specialties) like affumicata (smoked buffalo mozzarella) with earthy porcini mushrooms. Beyond these is a competent cast of Italian classics, including artisanal pasta dishes and generous mains; the slow-roasted lamb shanks are utterly seductive. Wines by the glass are limited, average but refreshingly affordable.
